Q. Can the cradles switch between USB and ethernet?

A. Most of the ethernet cradles (MC70, MC3000 and MC65 but NOT the MC9000) have a small switch on the side that allows manual switching between USB and Ethernet. Some customers use this switch exactly as you, USB for initial installation, then switch to ethernet and some even put a small piece of tape over the switch to prevent 'accidental' switching by an operator.
